Plano ISD operates a single comprehensive high school: Plano High School and the Lowery Freshman Center. That structural choice concentrates resources, which is why Plano's marching band, athletics, AP/IB programs, and CTE pathways punch well above what a typical 22,000-student district could fund split across three or four campuses.
Top-Rated Elementary Feeders
Boon Elementary serves much of west Plano including parts of Legacy West and Starcreek. Anderson Elementary covers Granite Park and surrounding 75024 sections. Reed and Story serve other 75024 subdivisions and consistently earn the strongest test-score reputations.
Established Plano (75024) Feeders
Granite Park, Oak Point, Windhaven, and Starcreek feed primarily into Cheatham, Olson, Vaughan, and Green elementaries. These campuses are strong but generally do not carry the same resale premium as the top 75024 feeders.
Middle Schools
Plano ISD operates Curtis, Ereckson, and Ford middle schools. Curtis covers most of west Plano and is the most commonly referenced "premium" middle school in resale conversations.
